DIOR x Air Jordan 1

The ever-growing crossover of luxury and sportswear is inching closer to its apex this month as Nike officially reveals a first look at the hotly anticipated DIOR x Air Jordan 1. The Italian-made shoes feature a white and grey upper with “Air Dior” punched into the iconic Wings logo, while an all-over print in a high-quality jacquard acts as the Swoosh logo of the silhouette. A translucent icy sole with a graphic beneath, subtle contrast stitching, and a metallic chrome hangtags accompanying the rumored $2,000 sneaker, while nine eyelets confirm that the canvas in question is indeed that of a High. The choice of light grey is a nod to the French atelier’s history as the hue was a mainstay of the brand since its founding in 1947.
It’s no surprise that the shoe emerged today, given Dior’s first-ever US debut of a mens seasonal line was scheduled today ahead Art Basel shenanigans this weekend in Miami. Nike confirms that the shoes will release in April 2020 at select Dior stores; an MSRP has not been revealed. See the official imagery below.
