DENHAM To Release Their Nike Air Max Trio

Teased for the past few months via leaks and seemingly random in-store releases, DENHAM’s inaugural collaboration with Nike has finally received its official release date. A trio of the best Air Max classics, the partnership effectively tours the Air Max 1Air Max 90, and the Air Max 95 through the jeanmaker’s signature denim-infused design language — each being tweaked with their own unique motifs.

Lead by the Air Max 1, the pack starts strong with Boro stitch and a loud use of hand darning. Indigo dyes make up the suedes and underlying textile, all saturated near fully. White accents impart various patterns from under to overlay, delivering a dimension that borrows heavy influence from traditional Japanese technique. Light brown heel wraps accent adjacent to red detailing and natural leathers, finishing what will release first from the collection come September 18th.

Then, on September 25th, the label will usher in not one but two pairs: both the Air Max 90 as well as the Air Max 95. Far more ordinary by comparison to the aforementioned, the two inch closer to OG likeness as they tweak the “Infrared” and “Neon” colorways respectively. The latter, which is made up of a sizable array of denim fabrics, creates a patchwork allure via light to dark wash that pairs well with the cream base underneath and the orange that colors the usual molds and Nike branding. The 95 leans on a similar approach as it dons jeans along its lowermost layers; off-white hits are placed above next to true white mesh, while black fabrics balance out the achromatic tones with the louder neons found at the eye stay, swoosh, and Air unit.
