The adidas YEEZY SLIDE exploded in popularity over the last year, but it’s done very little to expand the color palette of Kanye West’s $1+ billion empire. Its upcoming “Glow Green” colorway, however, is bound to change that. Confirmed in late May by YEEZY MAFIA, the lounge-appropriate style has served as more evidence of ‘ye’s influence and understanding of product. The two-piece YEEZYs have commonly been the “butt” of jokes, but their comfort has been lauded by those who’ve looked past the unconventional design to secure a pair (at retail or otherwise). adidas branding is debossed on the slip-on’s foot bed, while the remainder of the EVA-injected proposition goes logo-less. An eye-catching green, however, helps the cheapest YEEZY make a statement
