Nike Dunk High "Aluminum"

While some spectators may view Virgil Abloh’s “The 50” as the general silhouette’s end, the Nike Dunk High hasn’t indicated that it’s returning to mainstream oblivion any time soon. On the contrary, colorways like the newly-surfaced “Aluminum” will surely only propel it deeper into casual consumers’ consciousness. Not to be confused with previously-seen “University Blue” makeups, the upcoming sneaker is a women’s exclusive that follows a tried-and-proven two-tone arrangement. “White” smooth leather sets the stage for a number of overlays clad in the titular light blue tone; branded labels on the tongue follow suit, forgoing the yellow of similar, past Nike Dunks. Underfoot, the high-top silhouette rounds out the simple color palette with a “colorless” midsole/”Aluminum” outsole, a tooling setup reminiscent of one of the year’s most popular Air Jordan 1..
