UNDEFEATED x Nike Dunk vs. AF-1 “5 On It” Drop 2

Among one of NIKE, Inc.’s most storied streetwear collaborators, UNDEFEATED has reimagined both the Nike Dunk Low and Nike Air Force 1 over the last few months via its “5 On It” initiative. Following the project’s first drop on August 20th, the Los Angeles-based boutique has revealed a release date for the second installment: September 3rd. Informed by its “5 Strikes” logo, UNDEFEATED has looked back to the 1990s and 2000s – which are widely considered both aforementioned silhouettes’ “golden eras” – in order to remix the two iconic canvases with five different materials. Crocodile skin patterns and perforated canvas panels work in-tandem with smooth and patent leather, as well as premium suede, for a unique combination that’s equally old school and modern. The accompanying low-top Nike Dunk forgoes any vibrant blue and yellow in favor of an all-black arrangement, but it makes a statement via the long-lauded materials employed. High-quality suede is complemented by pony hair ostrich suede, nylon, canvas and a semi-translucent, icy gum sole.
