The love-hate "What The" concept has been dormant for the past couple of years. Some pairs, like the original "What The Dunk"from 2007, are highly-coveted to this day. Other pairs that have utilized the mashup concept have not had the same staying power. The Air Jordan 4 is reportedly the next silhouette in line for the multi-colored treatment.
According to @DJFolk, the "What The" Air Jordan 4 will be dropping at the tail end of 2019. There are currently no images of the colorway, but based on previous executions of the theme the pair will fuse multiple iterations of Michael Jordan's fourth signature model.
Jordan Brand has used this formula in the past. Back in 2016, it released a "Top Three" Air Jordan 1 that fused the OG "Bred," "Chicago," and "Royal" colorways.
Stay tuned as more information becomes available regarding the "What The" Air Jordan 4. The pair is currently rumored for a Nov. 23 release date.
