Kanye West‘s master plans for the adidas Yeezyline’s slate of holiday releases are beginning to be revealed, and the latest pair to pop up is a bold new take on the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2dubbed the “Yecheil.” These curiously-monikered Yeezy shoes — the name means “May God Live” in Hebrew — are a striking departure from previously-used palettes, as they do away with the line’s normal earth-based hues in favor of a four-color mix. A simple black Primeknit serves as the base, but it’s then accented with substantial quantities of white & tan thread, applied everywhere except the side stripe. There’s also a dashing dose of bright red present on the throat, tongue, and medial side. Even the sockliner gets in on the fun, throwing in a little extra tan for good measure. Down below, a smoky black midsole with white Boost cushioning completes the look. A welcome and colorful change of pace for the most popular silhouette in the Yeezy lineup, these Yecheil Yeezys are tentatively scheduled for a December 15th release date, and will retail for $220 USD.
