The cat’s now fully out of the bag as LeBron James himself reveals a first detailed look at the Nike LeBron 17 signature shoe. Evidently packed with innovative advancements in Nike’s Flyknit called Battleknit and a new cushioning unit with visible heel Air, the LeBron 17 – designed by Jason Petrie – follows the evolution of the sig-shoe line with an enhanced composition of materials fit to support and contain the three-time champion. Seen here in an all-purple make-up, this “2K” edition features the gaming franchise’s iconography on the midfoot of the tongue, while a jeweled LeBron crown logo sits front and center above the lion’s head engraving. It’s possible that this Nike LeBron 17 “2K” could be an unlockable achievement in the upcoming NBA 2K20 game, which features a MyPlayer storyline produced by LeBron’s Springhill Entertainment. See below for a closer look, and stay tuned for release info on the LeBron 17
