Air Max 1/97 SW

With shades of Patta’s corduroy Air Max 1s released in 2009, Wotherspoon went all out when it came to the materials used on his hybrid model, which features a 97 upper sitting on an Air Max 1 sole.

The upper is decked out in corduroy with a denim heel pull-tab, subtle “VA to LA” branding, personalised tongue decals, and a custom velour insole completing what looks to be an ultra-luxe collaborative effort.

There are countless Air Max models that are considered grails by collectors all over the globe. Air Max 1 OG

It's been three decades since the Air Max 1 first touched down and brought visible Air cushioning to the world. Now, celebrating the model's 30th anniversary in fitting fashion, the icon by Tinker Hatfield returns in refined fashion with original detailing and a shape inspired by "Golden Era" releases from the turn of the millennium. The ultimate homage is made complete with the original white and red colorway outfitting the design.
